KLIMS 2026 Attracts Over 200,000 Visitors and Significant Interest from Exhibitors

Kuala lumpur: The Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show 2026 (KLIMS 2026) has successfully drawn 205,440 visitors, generating considerable commercial interest from participating exhibitors during its 10-day event. Malaysian Automotive Association (MAA) president Mohd Shamsor Mohd Zain highlighted that KLIMS 2026 showcases the strength, resilience, and adaptability of Malaysia's automotive industry.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the event underscores the industry's ongoing transformation towards electrification, innovation, and smarter mobility solutions. Beyond displaying the latest vehicles and technologies, KLIMS has evolved into a comprehensive mobility platform that unites the entire automotive ecosystem, fostering collaboration, accelerating innovation, and supporting Malaysia's transition towards a safer, cleaner, and more sustainable mobility future.

KLIMS 2026 was organized by MAA and managed by Qube Integrated Malaysia Sdn Bhd (Qube), bringing together leading automotive and mobility brands under the theme 'Beyond Mobility.' The event highlighted the industry's shift towards greener technologies, electrification, and a more connected, intelligent mobility ecosystem.

The 11th edition of the motor show featured a strong lineup of participating brands, including Dongfeng, GWM, Honda, Hyundai, Jetour, Kia, Maxus, Mazda, MG Motors, Nissan, Perodua, Proton, Proton e.MAS, smart, Toyota, Wuling, XPENG, and Zeekr. The motorcycle category was represented by AFAZ and Suzuki.

Proton showcased its electric future with the CKD e.MAS 5 and flagship e.MAS 7 Premium Plus, while Perodua unveiled its C2 Concept, a prototype EV sedan, and the QV-E G+ Edition preview. Honda introduced the long-awaited Prelude hybrid coupe to the Malaysian market. Meanwhile, Hyundai launched the high-performance Ioniq 5 N and Ioniq 6 N, along with the family-friendly Stargazer, and Mazda expanded its lineup with the CX-60 MHEV.

MG Motor added the versatile ZS Hybrid+ and the striking Cyberster, and Jetour introduced the T2 i-DM plug-in hybrid SUV and the G700 SUV, highlighting the diversity of new models on display.

Qube executive chairman Richard Teo stated that KLIMS 2026 has set a new benchmark for delivering a large-scale, immersive, and engaging mobility showcase. This year's edition successfully combined automotive innovation, lifestyle experiences, and community engagement under one roof, creating a dynamic platform for industry stakeholders and the public. Teo expressed pride in elevating KLIMS as a regional automotive showcase of international standard.
