Kuala lumpur: The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures experienced a positive start at Bursa Malaysia Derivatives, reflecting the marginally higher trading in the underlying cash market.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the futures contracts for June 2026 and July 2026 saw an increase of eight points, reaching 1,677.0 and 1,679.0, respectively. Meanwhile, the September 2026 contract rose by 8.5 points to 1,660.5, and the December 2026 contract gained 5.5 points to 1,659.
The turnover for these contracts was recorded at 2,053 lots, with the open interest amounting to 29,679 contracts. As of 9.53 am, the FBM KLCI advanced by 6.62 points to 1,682.12, compared to the previous day's close of 1,675.5.
