Kuala lumpur: The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures opened higher on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives today. At 9.20 am, the May 2026 contract rose 4.5 points to 1,755.0, the June 2026 contract increased 4.0 points to 1,753.5, the September 2026 contract was 3.0 points higher at 1,734.0, and the December 2026 contract gained 6.5 points to 1,739.0.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, turnover stood at 1,219 lots, while open interest totalled 34,577 contracts. The FBM KLCI inched up by 1.07 points to 1,747.38 from Wednesday's close of 1,746.31 after 37 minutes of trading.
