KLCI Futures Open Higher as Contracts Gain on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives

Kuala lumpur: The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures experienced an upward trend as they opened higher on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives today.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, at 10:07 am, the May 2026 contract increased by 3.0 points to 1,733.0. Both the June 2026 and September 2026 contracts saw gains of 2.50 points, reaching 1,731.50 and 1,712.50 respectively, while the December 2026 contract edged up by 0.5 of a point to 1,712.50.

The turnover at this time was recorded at 1,586 lots, with the open interest standing at 32,330 contracts.

By 10:17 am, the FBM KLCI had risen by 1.23 points to 1,728.94, compared to the previous day's closing figure of 1,727.71.
