Kuala lumpur: FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures opened higher on Tuesday, tracking the underlying cash market.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, at 9.45 am, the March 2026 contract climbed 33.50 points to 1,673.0. The April 2026 contract added 32.00 points to reach 1,674.0, while the June 2026 contract grew by 31.0 points to 1,672.0. The September 2026 contract garnered 33.00 points to settle at 1,655.0.

Turnover was recorded at 3,025 lots, with open interest standing at 38,183 contracts. The FBM KLCI index rose 25.32 points to 1,699.49 after 50 minutes of trading, in comparison to the previous day's close of 1,674.17.
