Kuala lumpur: The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended mostly higher on Monday, reflecting gains in the underlying cash market.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, at the close, the February 2026 contract rose half-a-point to 1,740.50, while the June 2026 contract increased by 1.0 point to 1,725.0. Meanwhile, both the March 2026 and September 2026 contracts remained unchanged at 1,720.50 and 1,712.0, respectively.
Turnover for the day decreased to 3,473 lots from 6,678 lots recorded last Friday. Additionally, open interest saw a decline, falling to 41,005 contracts from the previous 43,523 contracts.
At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI itself showed an increase of 1.72 points, or 0.10 percent, closing at 1,741.26, a rise from Friday's close of 1,739.54.
