KLCI Futures End Lower on Bursa Malaysia

Kuala lumpur: The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives concluded the trading session on a lower note, aligning with trends observed in the underlying cash market.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the February 2026 contract decreased by 5.5 points to settle at 1,746.0. The March 2026 contract fell by 6.5 points to 1,721.0, while the June 2026 contract also dropped 6.5 points to 1,725.0. The September 2026 contract saw a decline of eight points, ending at 1,711.0.

Turnover for the day increased to 62,037 lots from 57,795 lots traded on Tuesday. Meanwhile, open interest grew to 102,848 contracts compared to 98,281 contracts previously recorded.

At the close of the day, the FBM KLCI eased by 6.20 points, or 0.35 percent, to finish at 1,747.81, as opposed to the previous day's closure at 1,754.01.
