Kuala lumpur: The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed higher on Tuesday.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the August 2026, September 2026, and March 2027 contracts each added four points to reach 1,732, 1,711, and 1,697, respectively. Meanwhile, the December 2026 contract saw a gain of 4.5 points, closing at 1,714.5.

Turnover decreased to 6,338 lots from 7,299 on Monday, and open interest fell to 45,621 contracts from 46,932 previously. At 5 pm, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) increased by 6.93 points to 1,732.66, compared to Monday's close of 1,725.73.
