Kuala lumpur: The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures experienced a decline on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives as trading commenced on Thursday. At 9.30 am, the March 2026 contract dropped by eight points, reaching 1,718.50. The contracts for April 2026 and June 2026 each decreased by seven points, settling at 1,710.50 and 1,707.50, respectively. The September 2026 contract saw a reduction of 6.50 points, bringing it to 1,690.0.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the turnover was recorded at 7,596 lots, while the open interest stood at 41,739 contracts. Additionally, after 47 minutes of trading, the FBM KLCI index eased by 2.91 points to 1,713.70, compared to the previous day's closing of 1,716.68.
