Kuala lumpur: The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures opened lower on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives, reflecting the performance of the underlying cash market.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, at 9.33 am, the June 2026 futures fell by four points to 1,674.0, and the July 2026 futures decreased by 3.5 points to 1,676.0. The September 2026 and December 2026 futures were both down by 5.5 points, settling at 1,657 and 1,661.5, respectively.
Turnover was recorded at 1,827 lots, with open interest totaling 29,296 contracts. By 9.55 am, the benchmark index had eased by 2.23 points to 1,676.73, compared to Wednesday's closing figure of 1,678.96.
