Kuala lumpur: FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures opened lower on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives on Monday. At 9.30 am, the May 2026 contract fell 3.5 points to 1,715.50. The June 2026 and September 2026 contracts each eased 2.0 points, positioning at 1,714.50 and 1,695.50, respectively. Meanwhile, the December 2026 contract slipped 1.5 points to 1,697.50.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, turnover was recorded at 8,710 lots, with an open interest totaling 38,862 contracts. As of 9.48 am, the FBM KLCI index decreased by 3.97 points to 1,708.70, compared to Friday's closing figure of 1,712.67.
