Kuala lumpur: The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts opened lower on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives on Tuesday.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, at 10.07 am, the July 2026 contract saw a decrease of 10 points to 1,710.0. The August 2026 contract dropped by 9.5 points to 1,710.5. Meanwhile, the September 2026 contract experienced a decline of nine points to 1,690.5, and the December 2026 contract fell by 12 points to 1,690.5.
The turnover for the futures contracts stood at 8,997 lots, while the open interest totaled 49,975 contracts. At 10.10 am, the FBM KLCI eased by 5.55 points to 1,707.54, down from the previous day's close of 1,713.09.
