Kuala lumpur: The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended mixed today, reflecting the performance of the underlying cash market.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the June 2026 contract remained unchanged at 1,678. Meanwhile, the July 2026 and December 2026 contracts each gained one point, closing at 1,680.5 and 1,662.0, respectively. The September 2026 contract experienced a decrease, falling 1.5 points to 1,661.0.
Turnover for the day decreased to 7,499 lots from the previous 9,044 lots recorded on Wednesday. Additionally, open interest saw a decline, dropping to 33,810 contracts from 35,238 contracts previously noted.
At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI recorded a slight increase, rising 0.57 points to close at 1,679.53. This was a minor improvement from Wednesday’s closing figure of 1,678.96.
