Kuala lumpur: JCI Kuala Lumpur, in collaboration with co-organisers JCI Setia Alam, JCI Entrepreneur, and JCI Melaka, will host the Cosplay Networking Night 2026 on Aug 8, following the success of its inaugural event last year. KL Wellness City, in a statement today, said the event, to be held at the Andaman Grand Ballroom, aims to revolutionise traditional business networking by integrating creativity and social interaction into a dynamic platform.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the event is designed for entrepreneurs, young professionals, business leaders, and creatives, encouraging participants to step outside their comfort zones and build authentic connections in a fun and engaging atmosphere. Event founder Alexx Chor said the programme continues to embrace its signature 'Show Up, Glow Up, Link Up' philosophy, noting that cosplay serves as a powerful icebreaker. He added that the medium allows participants to lower professional barriers, confidently express their personalities, and foster deeper, more genuine business relationships.
Meanwhile, JCI Kuala Lumpur President Kong Yue Ning said the initiative reflects the organisation's commitment to empowering young leaders through innovative and impactful platforms. She noted that the Cosplay Networking Night not only challenges conventional networking culture but also creates opportunities for cross-industry collaboration, strategic partnerships, and entrepreneurial growth.
Organising chairman Lee Haozhe was quoted in the same statement as saying this year's edition will feature an enhanced experience, including interactive networking games, live stage performances, entertainment segments, and lucky draw sessions. "The event is more than just a themed gathering; it is an 'efficient yet enjoyable' networking ecosystem where professionals can exchange resources, ideas, and opportunities in a relaxed environment," he said.
KL Wellness City executive director Datuk Seri Dr Vincent Tiew, who attended the 2025 edition as a special guest, has endorsed the event, noting that creative platforms could effectively break down industry barriers while encouraging authentic interactions. Reflecting the event's growing influence, the organising committee is actively engaging with organisations, chambers, and business associations to further expand the reach of the networking concept and build a broader ecosystem for collaboration and resource sharing.
As part of this momentum, KL Wellness City has also adopted a cosplay-inspired theme for its annual dinner, reflecting its commitment to innovation, creativity, and community engagement. In conjunction with the upcoming completion of The Nobel Healthcare Park, KL Wellness City is currently offering exclusive investment opportunities through its lifestyle reward campaign titled 'The Golden Journey to Wellness', which commenced on May 18. During the campaign period, purchasers of medical, retail, business, and commercial suites will enjoy exclusive rewards, including RM10,000 worth of travel vouchers from Golden Destinations and health screening vouchers worth up to RM6,000 from KL International Hospital (KLIH).
