Kuala Lumpur: His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, today granted an audience to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim at Istana Negara. A post on Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar’s Facebook stated that Sunday is a rest day, but His Majesty continues to perform official duties at His Majesty’s office at Istana Negara.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, by 7 am, His Majesty had granted an audience to senior officers of Istana Negara before granting an audience to the Prime Minister, as mentioned in the post.
