Kuala Lumpur: His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia has contributed 100 cows for this year’s Aidiladha sacrificial slaughter.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the meat will be distributed to staff of Istana Negara, as well as to the asnaf and B40 groups. His Majesty also recited the ‘niat korban’ during a ceremony led by the Istana Negara religious officer, Datuk Munir Md Salleh, at the palace here today.

‘To fulfil this religious observance, Sultan Ibrahim also consented to delegate the sacrificial rite to the Istana Negara committee, to be carried out on His Majesty’s behalf,’ it said.
