Johor bahru: Kimlun Corporation Bhd's wholly owned subsidiary, Kimlun Sdn Bhd, has secured three construction contracts worth a combined RM617.73 million in Johor. In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Kimlun Corporation revealed the contracts involve main building works for serviced apartment developments, as well as infrastructure and building works for residential and commercial properties in Johor Bahru. Completion is anticipated between the second quarter and fourth quarter of 2028.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the contracts include a RM176.20 million project awarded by Permas Jaya Sdn Bhd for the construction of two blocks of serviced apartments and ancillary buildings in Mukim Plentong. Additionally, a RM271.55 million contract was secured from Melia Spring Sdn Bhd for similar works in Mukim Pulai. The third contract, valued at RM169.98 million, was granted by CJ Developments Sdn Bhd for infrastructure and building works for terrace houses and shop-offices in Mukim Pulai.
These contracts are anticipated to positively impact the earnings and net assets of the Kimlun group of companies throughout the respective contract periods, as stated by the group.
