Kota bharu: The Sultan of Kelantan, Sultan Muhammad V, today attended the Raja Bersama Rakyat event in conjunction with His Royal Highness’s 56th birthday celebration at Dataran Stadium Sultan Muhammad IV here. The Sultan accompanied by the Sultanah of Kelantan, Sultanah Nur Diana Petra Abdullah, was warmly welcomed upon arrival at the stadium at 6.15 pm.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the event was enlivened with various traditional Kelantanese performances presented shortly after the royal couple’s arrival. At the event, His Royal Highness presented awards to representatives of the best-performing schools in the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examinations in Kelantan, as well as the Royal Scout Award to selected scouts.

Some 1,500 people attended the grand event, which was also graced by the Tengku Mahkota of Kelantan, Tengku Muhammad Fakhry Petra, and the Kelantan Menteri Besar, Datuk Mohd Nassuruddin Daud.
