Kelantan: The Kelantan edition of the MADANI Rakyat Programme (PMR) 2025 officially concluded today, after three days of exhibitions and various activities which inspired many, particularly in the field of the latest technology.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the programme was organised by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI), in collaboration with the Implementation Coordination Unit of the Prime Minister’s Department (ICU JPM). Held at the Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium, it was officiated by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
Starting Thursday, visitors had the opportunity to explore local innovation exhibitions, green technology demonstrations, technology entrepreneurship workshops, and interactive sessions with the nation’s young scientists and inventors. One of the participants, Ahmad Khalis Rayyan Khairulzaman, 19, from Tumpat, expressed his excitement at witnessing the creativity of local students, particularly the ‘Kancil’ robot displayed at the MOSTI Pavilion. He noted that the exhibition broadened minds and inspired technological literacy.
Mohd Haziq Ahmad, 27, a young entrepreneur from Bachok, praised the government’s initiative, mentioning that the programme offered insights into the latest technology, grants, and entrepreneurship training, which are beneficial to SMEs. Civil servant Wan Badri Wan Omar, 52, saw PMR 2025 as aligning with Malaysia MADANI’s aspirations, promoting national development through inclusive technological advancement.
PMR 2025 is expected to continue in other states, aiming to expand access to technology and development opportunities, thereby improving living standards nationwide.
