Kelantan JPNIN Distributes 2,149 Starter Kits to Tabika and Taska Perpaduan

Kota bharu: The Kelantan Department of National Unity and Integration (JPNIN) has received 2,149 starter kits for Tabika Perpaduan (community kindergarten) and Taska Perpaduan (childcare centre) children in conjunction with the 2026 school session. Kelantan JPNIN director Zarina Zakaria stated that 2,041 starter kits were allocated for Tabika Perpaduan pupils, while the remaining 108 sets were distributed to Taska Perpaduan children in the state.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Zarina Zakaria explained that for Tabika Perpaduan, the starter kits comprise uniforms and school bags that will be distributed free of charge to all pupils. For Taska Perpaduan, the kits include uniforms, school bags, towels, and blankets as preparation for the children's learning sessions. The distribution of these starter kits aims to ensure the welfare and basic needs of the children are met before the school session begins on January 11.

Zarina also expressed her appreciation to the Ministry of National Unity for its continued support in empowering early childhood education through the provision of these facilities. She highlighted that this effort reflects the government's commitment to ensuring that the welfare and development of children remain a priority, particularly in nurturing the values of unity from an early age.
