Kelantan JPJ to Implement Random Inspections at RXZ Forever Legend Event

Kota bharu: The Kelantan Road Transport Department (JPJ) is set to perform random checks on participants of the RXZ Forever Legend event scheduled for February 6 and 7 at the Rural Transformation Centre (RTC) in Tunjong. The department's director, Mohd Misuari Abdullah, highlighted that the inspections will primarily target helmet adherence, motorcycle modifications, and the noise levels emitted by exhaust systems.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Mohd Misuari addressed reporters during a self-improvement, discipline, and professionalism course for Queen Ekspress staff, alongside the unveiling of the Queen Ekspress song. He detailed the department's plans for the event's duration, emphasizing oversight on village roads and encouraging participants to abide by traffic regulations by maintaining decorum and refraining from racing.

Further elaborating, Mohd Misuari mentioned that while the event is organized by a non-governmental organization with police permits and state government backing, the JPJ is prepared to offer support if required. He noted the involvement of intelligence and monitoring teams to ensure compliance throughout the event's two-day span.

In addition, Mohd Misuari reported a significant milestone in road safety, stating that since November last year, express bus passengers in Kelantan have achieved a 100 percent compliance rate with seatbelt regulations.
