Kelantan Government’s Development Proposals Await Federal Consideration: MB

Kota Bharu: The Kelantan government is confident that all development project proposals brought to the attention of the Federal government will be given due consideration. Kelantan Menteri Besar Datuk Mohd Nassuruddin Daud expressed this optimism following discussions with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim during the Special Meeting on Kelantan State Development held at Kota Darulnaim.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, several priority projects for the Kelantan government were presented to the Prime Minister. Datuk Mohd Nassuruddin stated, “Insya-Allah, I am optimistic that, in the spirit of strong federalism, these proposals will be given due consideration by the Federal government for the welfare of the people of Kelantan.” He made these remarks during his speech at the state-level Aidilfitri MADANI 2025 celebration with the Prime Minister at Pantai Irama.

Mohd Nassuruddin emphasized the importance of maintaining a good relationship between the state and Federal governments, based on the principles of federalism. He noted that the two levels of government should not be in competition but should work together to achieve the people’s agenda. “We in Kelantan go with the strategic plan of ‘Penghayatan Membangun Bersama Islam’ and are always committed to preserving unity and harmony among the people to ensure a mature and prosperous relationship with the Federal government for the benefit of the people,” he added.

The Menteri Besar highlighted the need to continue preserving the peace and harmony that have been established in the country. He remarked, “The rise and fall of Islam’s future is our shared responsibility to be shouldered so that its obligations can be fulfilled in the best way possible.” He concluded his speech by expressing gratitude to the Prime Minister and his delegation for their visit to Kelantan and for organizing the Aidilfitri MADANI celebration to foster closeness with the people of the state.
