KOTA BHARU: The Kelantan government has announced a special financial assistance of RM500 for state civil servants. Menteri Besar Datuk Mohd Nassuruddin Daud stated that the payment would be disbursed in February next year as a token of appreciation for their contributions and sacrifices.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Mohd Nassuruddin emphasized that this initiative serves as recognition for the service and dedication of state civil servants who have fulfilled their duties with integrity in developing the state. He announced that the Special Financial Assistance of RM500 per person would be provided for all civil servants in Grade 56 and below, including contract appointees.

The payment is scheduled to be disbursed in February 2025, with the financial implication of this initiative amounting to RM4.97 million. Additionally, Mohd Nassuruddin mentioned that the special financial assistance would also be extended to political appointees, with the amount to be determined by the state government.
