KDN FC Continue To Be Whipping Boys In Super League

Kota Bharu: Lack of training is one of the main reasons why Kelantan Darul Naim FC (KDN FC) continue to struggle in the Super League this season, said the team’s Assistant Head Coach, Kamaruddin Muhammad. He said the team face preparation issues as players do not undergo sufficient daily training to compete with other teams.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Kamaruddin explained that the team does not train every day and instead are only called up to play. The players were only gathered two days ago and had a training session before facing Penang FC last night. In a week, they only train two or three days, making it difficult for the team to compete with other Super League teams like Penang FC, who have experience and a full quota of foreign players.

KDN FC, consisting of young local players, suffered a heavy 1-6 defeat against the visitors. Kamaruddin stated that KDN FC are now merely completing their remaining Super League fixtures as they are unable to compete competitively.

Therefore, he hopes that th
e management will take immediate action to address the issues faced by the team to ensure that KDN FC can provide stronger competition against their opponents. He also expressed hope that in the future, KDN FC will be managed by a more capable coach who can help the team compete more effectively.
