Taman batik: The Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS) is set to rejuvenate the Rakan Muda Club initiative in all 222 parliamentary constituencies nationwide, aiming to bolster youth development efforts.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Dr. Mohammed Taufiq Johari, the Minister of Youth and Sports, announced an allocation of RM1.11 million to support this initiative. The funds will serve as an incentive to enhance the various programmes under the Rakan Muda umbrella. Dr. Taufiq highlighted the ministry's commitment to reactivating Rakan Muda clubs across the country, with an initial incentive of RM5,000 allocated to each club to strengthen their programmes.

The minister shared these insights with reporters after officiating the Rakan Muda Tour and launching the Rakan Muda Mega Calendar, themed 'One Month, One Rakan Muda Lifestyle', at Taman Batik. Dr. Taufiq emphasized the significance of the Rakan Muda Club as a platform for nurturing the nation's future by developing youth with robust character, identity, and knowledge.

He stressed the necessity for today's youth to be prepared as quality future leaders who are well-equipped in various dimensions. With the establishment of 222 clubs nationwide, one for each parliamentary constituency, Dr. Taufiq expressed his hope that these clubs would actively utilize the government-provided funds to conduct meaningful activities in their respective areas.
