KBS Calls For Media Support To Build Momentum For SEA Games 2027

Kuala lumpur: The Youth and Sports Ministry (KBS) has called for active participation from media partners to help build early momentum ahead of the 2027 SEA Games, which Malaysia will host. Its Minister, Dr Mohammed Taufiq Johari, emphasized the need for early efforts to generate excitement for the biennial Games to ensure smooth organization and high standards of delivery.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Dr Johari expressed the importance of creating hype for the SEA Games now and hopes for continued cooperation with the media towards organizing the Games in Malaysia. He highlighted that support from all stakeholders, including the media, is crucial for a successful hosting of the Games.

Dr Johari assured that KBS will strive to organize one of the best editions of the Games. The 2027 SEA Games, scheduled from September 18 to 29, will feature events held across four clusters: Sarawak, Penang, Johor, and Kuala Lumpur.
