Sabah fc: Sabah FC has officially appointed former national Under-23 head coach Juan Torres Garrido as the team’s new head coach, the club manager Mohd Arziz Afizy announced today. The Spaniard will assume the duties currently assigned to acting head coach Alto Linus, who filled the position temporarily following the resignation of Jean-Paul de Marigny in December.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Juan Torres will begin his tenure with the upcoming match against Negeri Sembilan FC at Likas Stadium this Saturday. Mohd Arziz Afizy expressed his hope that the new coach would be able to bring positive changes to the team and help improve their league standings this season. The club’s main focus is to reach the final of the MFL Challenge Cup 2025-2026.
Arziz also emphasized the importance of the players’ full commitment, good discipline, and quick adaptation to the new training approaches introduced by Torres. He believes that with strong team spirit and determination from everyone involved, Sabah FC can achieve better results moving forward.
