President and chief executive Datuk Syed Mohamed Syed Ibrahim highlighted Johor’s assets and institutional depth, emphasizing JCorp’s role in mobilizing these strengths to enhance quality and reach in the healthcare sector.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, KPJ HealthCare Bhd, JCorp’s healthcare arm, is making strides by developing Malaysia’s first Academic Health System. This initiative aims to integrate clinical care, education, and research, creating a robust framework for healthcare excellence in the region. The system is anchored by three key pillars: KPJ hospitals, KPJ Healthcare University (KPJU), and KPJ Research and Innovation.
