Johor Polls: Muhyiddin Announces 16 Bersatu Candidates

Pagoh: Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin tonight announced the list of 16 party candidates who will contest in the 16th Johor State Election. The announcement was made at the Bersatu Candidates Announcement and Public Ceramah event at the Pagoh Parliamentary Service Centre in Taman Pagoh Jaya, here.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the following is the list of Bersatu candidates: Uzzair Ismail for N4 Kemelah, Datuk Dr Sahrudin Jamal for N7 Bukit Kepong, Mohd Idzharruddin Mohd Nasirruddin for N8 Bukit Pasir, and Mahfidz Omar for N11 Serom. Additionally, Mohd Radzi Amin will contest in N14 Bukit Naning, Muhammad Syafiq Abdul Aziz in N20 Semarang, and Dr Mohamed Maliki Mohamed Rapiee in N22 Parit Raja.

In other constituencies, Datuk Mohd Rashid Hasnon is set for N24 Senggarang, Syed Mohamad Syed Alwi for N25 Rengit, and Abd Mutalip Abd Rahim for N27 Layang-Layang. Muhamad Amerul Muhamad will run for N33 Tenggaroh, Alias Rasman for N34 Panti, and Rasman Ithnain for N36 Sedili. Aisah Esa is the candidate for N37 Johor Lama, Fairulnizar Rahmat for N38 Penawar, and Lim Chin Eng @ Roland Lim for N45 Stulang.

The Election Commission (EC) has established June 27 as the nomination day for the Johor State Election, with polling scheduled for July 11. The dissolution of the Johor State Assembly occurred on June 1.
