Johor Allocates RM2.5 Million for Palestinian Aid Through Tabung Kasih Johor-Palestin

Johor bahru: The Johor state government today contributed RM2.5 million to the people of Palestine via Tabung Kasih Johor-Palestin. State Islamic Religious Affairs Committee chairman Mohd Fared Mohd Khalid announced that the contribution was presented by the Regent of Johor, Tunku Mahkota Ismail, to the Palestinian Ambassador to Malaysia, Walid Abu Ali, following a special prayer session at Masjid Sultan Abu Bakar.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Tunku Mahkota Ismail also made a personal contribution to support the Palestinian people. Mohd Fared shared this information in a Facebook post, highlighting the commitment of the Johor state to assist Palestine during these challenging times.

The special prayer session for the well-being of Johor and both nations was attended by Johor State Secretary Datuk Asman Shah, members of the State Executive Council, and participants from the Harimau Malaya and Palestine national football teams. These teams are set to compete in a Tier 1 international friendly match at the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium in Iskandar Puteri tomorrow.
