Kuala Lumpur: The National Service Training Department (JLKN) has clarified that it has neither authorised nor appointed any individual or group to act as agents in sourcing bidders for government tenders on its behalf.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, JLKN emphasised that companies interested in participating in tenders must submit their proposals directly to the relevant ministry or department, without engaging any agents or third parties. ‘Companies are advised to obtain tender-related information exclusively through the official ePerolehan portal (https://www.eperolehan.gov.my)’, the statement read.
It added that ePerolehan serves as the main gateway for government procurement in Malaysia, where all tender advertisements and results are published.
JLKN advised companies approached or contacted by individuals or groups claiming to represent the department in procurement matters to seek clarification from JLKN’s Procurement Unit, or to lodge a police report if there are any doubts.
‘For further enquiries, please contact the JLKN Procurement Unit at 03-4013 3642 or via email at [email protected],’ the statement read.
