Jinjiang: The Jinjiang Culture and Tourism Group · 2026 "Samaranch Cup" Asian Basketball Masters Invitational Tournament commenced on February 1 in Jinjiang, a coastal city in Fujian Province, southeast China. The event has attracted 104 youth and adult teams from various regions across Asia.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the six-day tournament is co-hosted by the Samaranch Foundation and the Jinjiang Municipal People's Government. It includes two categories - youth and adult. The youth competition is divided into six age groups ranging from U9 to U17. Meanwhile, the adult division follows the men's 3x3 basketball format.
