Jerantut District Police Chief Dies Of Heart Attack

Jerantut: Jerantut district police chief Supt Zukri Muhammad died of a heart attack at his home in Taman Saujana Utama, Jerantut, today. The incident has left the community and law enforcement colleagues in mourning.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Pahang police chief Datuk Seri Yahaya Othman confirmed the passing of Zukri, aged 59, who was pronounced dead at approximately 3 pm. The sudden demise has come as a shock to many who knew him.

Yahaya stated that Zukri’s remains will be laid to rest at the Felda Krau Muslim Cemetery in Raub after Maghrib prayers today. He expressed his condolences to the family of Zukri and offered prayers for his soul to be placed among the righteous.

Zukri’s service as the Jerantut district police chief began in April of last year. He was nearing his mandatory retirement, which was scheduled for next month. His dedication to duty and leadership within the police force will be remembered by his colleagues and the community.
