Johor bahru: Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) has announced the signing of Spanish midfielder Ager Aketxe from Real Zaragoza. The announcement was made on the official Johor Southern Tigers Facebook page.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the post detailed that the club secured Aketxe’s transfer just one hour before the transfer window closed. The post welcomed Aketxe with the message, “Welcome to the home of the Southern Tigers, Ager.”

Aketxe, aged 31, played in 38 matches for Real Zaragoza, during which he scored two goals and contributed three assists. In addition to Aketxe, JDT also revealed the acquisition of Spanish right back Raul Parra Artal, 25, who joins from Portuguese club GD Estoril Praia.
