Jamal Norubit Determined To Fix Kawang’s Water Problems With Innovative Approach

Kawang: Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate for the Kawang state seat, Datuk Jamal Norubit, is determined to introduce gravity-fed water systems and tube wells as alternative solutions to the frequent water supply problems in the area. He said the approach is an innovative, practical, and effective short-term measure to provide clean water access to local residents.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Jamal emphasized that the cost of building tube wells is not high, and they can help solve the water problems that people in Papar often face. Residents sometimes have no water for weeks, and even when there is water, it is only available at night and not during the day. This situation makes life difficult for villagers, and Jamal believes that building gravity-fed wells is a simple and immediate solution.

Jamal, who uses the slogan ‘New Candidate, New Spirit, New Ideas’, also plans to focus on empowering young people if given the mandate to represent Kawang in the 17th Sabah State Election. His commitment includes providing basic infrastructure that appeals to the youth, such as constructing a mini-stadium for comfortable football play and creating more job opportunities.

‘Give me a chance to serve in Kawang,’ he said. Polling is scheduled for Nov 29.
