Kuala betis: The Department of Orang Asli Development (JAKOA) has allocated approximately RM1 million to construct a new preschool (Tabika) in Kampung Orang Asli Teranek, Kuala Betis, here, to improve early childhood education facilities for the Orang Asli community. JAKOA Director-General Datuk Sapiah Mohd Nor emphasized the necessity of the new Tabika, highlighting that previous classes were conducted in a surau in Kampung Rod, which was unsuitable for educational purposes.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Datuk Sapiah Mohd Nor stated that JAKOA is committed to providing a more suitable environment for early childhood education. The plan is to relocate the Tabika from the surau to the new building once all necessary inspections and equipment installations are completed.
