Port Dickson:ISF Group Bhd's wholly owned subsidiary, Yeo Plumber Sdn Bhd, has been awarded a hyperscale data centre project in Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan. The project, valued at RM83.2 million, was awarded by a Malaysian-based civil engineering and building construction group.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the project includes three contracts worth approximately RM73.3 million, covering the installation of cold water systems, rainwater harvesting systems, water reticulation, and sanitary services for the data centre. An additional contract valued at RM9.9 million involves external sewerage infrastructure works.
These contracts have increased ISF's unbilled order book to RM225.5 million, enhancing the group's earnings visibility through the financial year ending December 31, 2029. The completion of the contracts is planned in stages from November 2026 to July 2028.
ISF Managing Director Jeff Ai Boon Chen stated that the award demonstrates the company's growing capabilities and readiness to undertake large and complex projects. He highlighted Malaysia's position as a regional data centre hub, which is generating significant opportunities for supporting infrastructure works.
Chen expressed optimism about ISF's growth prospects, emphasizing the company's strong position, expanding order book, and project portfolio. These factors are expected to enable ISF to pursue larger-scale contracts and capitalize on emerging opportunities in the expanding data centre market.
