Puchong: Two insurance companies have stepped forward to offer assistance to their customers affected by this morning’s gas pipeline fire in Jalan Putra Harmoni, Putra Heights, Subang Jaya.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Takaful Malaysia urged customers who were affected to contact the company in a Facebook post today. The company expressed understanding of the challenges faced by the victims and assured them of its support during this difficult time. Takaful Malaysia encouraged affected individuals to stay safe and comply with safety protocols and provided a helpline for those involved in the incident. For non-motor claims, customers can call 012-9271686 or 017-3283543, and for motor claims, the hotline is 1800-888-788.
Meanwhile, Etiqa announced in a statement that it will cover claims for eligible customers without requiring a police report. This measure aims to facilitate a smoother and faster claims process for those impacted by the gas pipeline fire.
