Kuantan: BASF PETRONAS Chemicals Sdn Bhd (BPC) in partnership with Green Growth Asia Foundation (GGAF), proudly hosted the second Eco Schools Green Science and Technology Carnival at Sekolah Berasrama Penuh Integrasi Kuantan. Building on the resounding success of its inaugural edition, this year’s carnival underscored the unwavering commitment of both organisations towards fostering a sustainable future. The event brought together 108 schools and 1,200 students from across Malaysia, comprising 88 schools participating in the Green Innovation Science Project (GISPRO) competition and 20 local schools attending the carnival to celebrate innovation, sustainability, and green technology education.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the event was supported by the Ministry of Education Malaysia and featured the GISPRO competition finalists showcasing their projects. The carnival brought together a group of students, educators, corporate leaders, and volunteers, providing an immersive experience designed to ignite curiosity and passion for environmental stewardship and scientific innovation. The carnival also provided students with opportunities to engage with industry leaders and explore careers in green technology through interactive lab-based exhibitions focused on sustainability.
