Kuala lumpur: Infomina Bhd has secured a RM21.12 million contract to provide information and communications technology (ICT) maintenance and technical support services for the Road Transport Department (JPJ). The contract involves maintaining and supporting JPJ's ICT and networking hardware infrastructure across more than 170 branches nationwide, including mobile vehicles.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Infomina announced it had received a letter of acceptance from JPJ to deliver technology infrastructure operations, maintenance, and support services. This initiative aims to ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of JPJ's ICT and networking infrastructure, essential for the agency's daily operations and delivery of public services.
The contract is set for a thirty-six-month period, commencing from August 1, 2026, to July 31, 2029. Infomina's chief executive officer and managing director Yee Chee Meng stated that this contract strengthens the group's presence in the government sector and showcases its capability in managing large-scale technology infrastructure environments crucial for public service support.
With this contract, Infomina's outstanding order book has increased to approximately RM550 million, enhancing earnings visibility and supporting future growth.
