Shah alam: Police are investigating an independent preacher for allegedly spreading sex videos featuring his wives and other women, Shah Alam district police chief ACP Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim said. The preacher’s second wife lodged a police report at noon, June 16 alleging that her husband had spread the videos.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the police arrested the husband and seized his two mobile phones and laptop. Checks of his mobile phone revealed several sex videos featuring him and his wife and explicit photos of several other women, Ibrahim stated in a press release.

The preacher has been remanded for four days and has been given police bail while authorities complete the investigation. The investigation is being conducted under Section 509 of the Penal Code, Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998, and the Minor Offences Act 1955.
