Independent Preacher In Remand Over Fraud In Development Of Religious School

Kuala lumpur: An independent preacher is on remand for three days from today to assist in the investigation over a recent fraud case involving RM140,000 for the development of a religious school. The remand order against the 39-year-old suspect was issued by Magistrate Mohamad Redza Azhar Rezali.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Selangor police chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan was reported to have said that the police had received two reports regarding the fraud case, in the Gombak and Shah Alam districts, respectively. The reports involved two victims, both women in their early 40s.

The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are working to gather more information regarding the suspect’s involvement in the fraudulent activities. The police are urging anyone with additional information to come forward to aid in the investigation.
