Kuala lumpur: The Life Insurance Association of Malaysia (LIAM) is urging young Malaysians and individuals purchasing insurance for the first time to seize the opportunity to apply for the i-MULA 50 Starter Pack. This initiative still has RM2.2 million in subsidies available under the nationwide programme. Interested applicants have until 31 December 2025 to apply, although the offer may end sooner if the funds are fully allocated.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, over 56,000 Malaysians have already benefited from the programme, securing insurance coverage worth RM2.8 million. This is part of the RM5 million fund dedicated to promoting financial inclusion and enhancing risk protection for underserved demographics, particularly the youth. The programme aims to encourage more young people to consider insurance as a viable risk management tool.
