Mentakab: A human skeleton, believed to be of a woman, was found in a bush-covered drain near the Damai Taha Flats in Mentakab, Temerloh, yesterday. Temerloh Police chief ACP Mohd Nasyim Bahron stated that they received a tip-off from the public at noon.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the initial investigations led to the discovery of the skeleton, identified as possibly belonging to a woman based on the clothing found at the site. The remains have been transported to the Forensic Department of the Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Hospital in Temerloh for further examination.
Mohd Nasyim mentioned that further investigations are ongoing, and a Sudden Death Report (SDR) has been initiated, pending the full forensic report. He also urged anyone with information regarding the case to reach out to the investigating officer, Insp Mohd Razzi Ismail, at 017-231 4245.
