Hulu Selangor:Several roads in Hulu Selangor will be closed in stages from 11 am tomorrow to facilitate Stage 5 of the Le Tour de Langkawi (LTdL) 2026 cycling race.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the closures will affect routes from KM79 of Jalan Kuala Lumpur-Ipoh at the Muallim district border, Ulu Bernam-Kalumpang-Kerling-Kuala Kubu Baru-Pekan Batang Kali to the Gohtong Jaya Roundabout. Hulu Selangor police chief Supt M Manimaran advised road users to consider alternative routes, including Serendah-Sungai Choh-Bukit Beruntung-Bukit Beruntung Toll-North-South Expressway-Tanjung Malim Toll; Batang Kali-Hulu Yam Bharu-Pekan Hulu Yam-Hulu Yam Lama-Serendah; and Batang Kali-Hulu Yam Bharu-Sungai Tua-Middle Ring Road 2-Gombak Toll-Genting Highlands.

The road closures are anticipated to end at 1 pm, contingent on the movement and routes of the race participants. The measures aim to ensure the safety of both race participants and the public, to facilitate the smooth running of the event and to mitigate traffic congestion.

The public, especially road users, are encouraged to comply with traffic directions, plan journeys in advance, use alternative routes, and cooperate with on-duty personnel during the road closures.
