Johor Bahru: A huge fire erupted at an industrial facility storing engine oil and lorries in Johor state, sending plumes of smoke into the air and forcing the evacuation of those living nearby, authorities said yesterday.

According to Nam News Network, firefighters were alerted to the blaze around 12:45 p.m. local time. They discovered an active fire at the lorry depot, located in the town of Pasir Gudang, near the state capital, Johor Bahru. The flames spread quickly due to strong winds, igniting a neighboring disused oil storage area.
