HRX Unveils New Solution to Streamline SME Payroll and Workforce Management

Kuala lumpur: HRX by IFCA MSC Bhd has launched a new small and medium enterprises (SME)-focused initiative to help Malaysian employers manage payroll accuracy, statutory obligations and workforce operations with greater compliance confidence, without the cost and complexity of heavy enterprise systems. Backed by IFCA MSC's 39 years of enterprise software expertise and more than a decade of experience in delivering enterprise-level human resources management system (HRMS) solutions, the company is extending its proven human resources (HR), payroll and compliance capabilities to SMEs and growing businesses through scalable and easier-to-adopt solutions.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, HRX by IFCA MSC vice-president Eugene Teoh stated that Malaysian employers are now required to operate with increased accuracy, speed, and minimal margin for error. Teoh emphasized the need for systems that alleviate manual pressure, enhance compliance confidence, and adapt to organizational growth, which aligns with the direction HRX is pursuing.

The company highlighted that for many businesses, especially those without large in-house HR or payroll teams, the challenge extends beyond processing payroll to ensuring it is accurate, compliant, timely, and scalable as the organization expands. Employers often choose tools based on price or interface alone, which can lead to significant issues when compliance demands increase, operations become more complex, or the system fails to keep up. Therefore, HRX is promoting a compliance-first strategy rooted in IFCA's enterprise HRMS foundation.

IFCA MSC announced that the new SME-focused pathway offers Basic, Standard, and Premium editions. This allows businesses to begin with essential payroll and statutory compliance and later expand into advanced features such as leave, claims, attendance, dashboards, analytics, general ledger integration, and workflow customization as operational needs grow.

As part of the next phase, HRX has also introduced its HRX Talent Intelligence Suite, an AI-assisted capability aimed at improving recruitment selection and shortlisting. The suite is designed to assist employers in making quicker and more assured hiring decisions while decreasing the manual effort typically involved in candidate screening.

A second phase, scheduled for the third quarter of 2026, will concentrate on payroll and claims verification through the HRX Compliance Intelligence Suite. The upcoming suite aims to support anomaly detection, compliance checks, and verification workflows, aiding HR and finance teams in strengthening statutory accuracy, minimizing processing risks, and achieving clearer visibility into monthly payroll operations.
