HOK and ROSSETTI Join Forces to Create Expanded Global Sports, Recreation and Entertainment Design Practice

Kuala lumpur: HOK has acquired ROSSETTI, a Detroit-based architecture firm recognized nationally for its sports venue design and renovation work. The merger strengthens HOK's position as one of the world's leading sports, recreation, and entertainment design practices. The combined firm will operate as HOK + ROSSETTI during the integration. ROSSETTI's team, led by Matt Rossetti, FAIA, LEED AP, will continue to operate from Detroit: a market where HOK has long sought a physical presence and where ROSSETTI has been a fixture for 57 years.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the merger marks a strategic expansion for HOK, allowing it to leverage ROSSETTI's expertise and longstanding presence in Detroit. This acquisition is expected to enhance HOK's capabilities in sports and recreation architecture, a sector where ROSSETTI has built a strong reputation over decades. The integration of the two firms aims to provide a comprehensive suite of services to clients globally, combining their strengths in innovative design solutions and industry knowledge.

The decision for ROSSETTI to maintain its operations in Detroit aligns with HOK's strategy to deepen its roots in key markets. Matt Rossetti and his team bring extensive experience in designing and renovating sports venues, contributing significantly to the firm's portfolio. This merger is anticipated to bolster the firm's ability to deliver large-scale, complex projects worldwide, enhancing its competitiveness in the global market.
