Kuala lumpur: Herbal Farmer, a modern traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) retail brand, has been recognised by ASEAN Records for achieving the Most Sold Avocado Multigrain Functional Wellness Beverage. The brand's chief executive officer, Teo Chin Hong, announced that 249,354 units of 500-gramme packs were sold from 2019 to 2025, amounting to 4,155,900 sachet servings.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Teo Chin Hong expressed that the recognition by ASEAN Records highlights the dedication of the Herbal Farmer team and the popularity of their products among customers. He shared these insights following a certificate presentation ceremony by ASEAN Records managing director Eldrick Koh. Samuel Lee Thai Hung, deputy director-general of Tourism Malaysia, was also in attendance.
Teo emphasized Herbal Farmer's commitment to transforming the perception of TCM by integrating modern practices into their offerings. Despite challenges in the market, the company remains optimistic about its growth and strategic plans.
As part of its expansion strategy, Herbal Farmer is set to open new outlets in Sarawak and Ipoh, Perak, enhancing accessibility to their products. Additionally, in celebration of the upcoming Chinese New Year, the brand has launched over 20 new festive products, including curated gift sets that are traditionally purchased by the Chinese for various social exchanges.
The certificate presentation ceremony featured a vibrant lion dance performance, followed by a product unveiling and ribbon-cutting event. Attendees also participated in a question-and-answer session with prizes and a lucky draw.
