New delhi: HCLTech has announced a multi-year strategic collaboration with OpenAI aimed at accelerating the adoption of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) across large enterprises. The partnership positions HCLTech among the first strategic services partners to OpenAI, combining OpenAI’s advanced AI products with HCLTech’s industry knowledge and AI capabilities.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, HCLTech plans to integrate OpenAI’s models and solutions into its proprietary platforms, such as AI Force, AI Foundry, AI Engineering, and various industry-specific accelerators. This integration is designed to facilitate comprehensive enterprise AI transformation, enhancing business processes and identifying new growth opportunities.
Vijay Guntur, Global Chief Technology Officer and Head of Ecosystems at HCLTech, emphasized that the collaboration underscores the company’s engineering legacy and dedication to providing transformative AI solutions to Global 2000 enterprises. Giancarlo ‘GC’ Lionetti, OpenAI’s Chief Commercial Officer, highlighted HCLTech’s AI engineering capabilities as key to enabling scalable innovation and improved customer experiences.
The partnership aims to modernize business operations, improve customer and employee interactions, and support clients through the entire AI lifecycle-from readiness assessments to deployment, governance, and change management. Furthermore, HCLTech will deploy ChatGPT Enterprise and OpenAI’s application programming interfaces (APIs) internally, providing its workforce with secure, enterprise-grade GenAI tools.
